What is Mead?

Mead is the oldest fermented beverage in the world. Often associated with the vikings it is a fermented alcoholic beverage made with honey instead of grapes. The three basic ingredients of a traditional mead are honey, water and yeast. Then we add fruit purees and other natural

Do you serve Food?
At Stonehaüs we do not have a kitchen or full food menu but patrons are welcome to bring their own food.
We do have cheese and cracker options and a selection of chips, pretzels, corn nuts, nuts, trail mix and popcorn if you are looking for a snack with your mead.

What do you serve besides mead?
Stonehaüs has a huge selection of Pennsylvania craft beers, Hard Ciders and Distilled Products including a selection of Irish Whiskey, Bourbons and Rye. We also have four different guest taps beers or ciders from local breweries and cideries including, ShawneeCraft, Seven Sirens & Hardball.

Are you pet friendly?
Owners, Steve & Tricia Leibig, are dog lovers and are happy to welcome well-behaved, friendly service dogs. Dogs must be kept on a leash and not be a nusiance to other patrons. Stonehaüs reserves the right to ask a patron to leave if their dog is barking, a nuisance.
Patrons and their service dogs are always welcome in our outdoor seating area during the nice weather.

Do you offer any discounts?
As a Veteran-owned business, Stonehaüs is proud to honor veterans and first responders with a 10% discount on all in-house drinks. Discount does not apply to merchandise, Flaskes, bottles or gift cards. Just show the bartender your ID when you order. And Thank you for your service!
Are you family friendly?
Families are welcome at Stonehaüs. Children must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit at the bar but are welcome to sit at any of the tables. Stonehaüs offers a number of family friendly events like our monthly themed game night and kids are welcome to come with their parents.
Do you have live music?
Stonehaüs has live music every Saturday night 8-11PM

Do you ship?
At this time, Stonehaüs does not ship their products and merchandise. We hope to ship our meads and merchandise in the future. Currently, you can preorder merchandise or holiday gift baskets and pick up at Stonehaüs Meadery, 762 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA
